About Me

Richard D. Oxley
For the past few years, I have been writing and contributing to publications in the Portland, Ore area and have had the pleasure to regularly contribute to the Portland Daily Vanguard under various sections such as news, arts as well as writing my own opinion column. In addition to writing and becoming familiar with AP style, I have also served as a copy editor, making sure what is published is fit to print. I have also contributed to the Portland Tribune, covering local stories and writing articles aimed at hard news, as well as writing feature pieces highlighting Portland culture. Currently, I hold the position of Opinion Editor, managing the opinion section for the Daily Vanguard.
